GOVERNMENT & CITIZEN ENGAGEMENT – ENLAIGHT
Combining artificial intelligence (AI) and real-time data analysis, Enlaight supports organizations and governments in making informed decisions, optimizing fundraising campaigns, crisis responses and combating disinformation. The platform has already been used by organizations such as UNICEF and Médecins Sans Frontières in more than 60 countries, contributing to rapid and effective interventions on issues such as public health, migration and social justice.
HEALTH & WELL BEING – VITRUVIAN SHIELD
Combining clinical trial management systems (CTMS) with remote patient monitoring (RPM), Vitruvian Shield offers an integrated approach to improving medical research and healthcare. By enabling decentralized clinical trials and real-time monitoring of patients with chronic diseases, it facilitates more efficient management of clinical trials and ensures faster and more personalized healthcare. This platform is transforming the way medicine is conducted, reducing costs, speeding up drug development and improving patient outcomes.
LEARNING & EDUCATION – UBBU
This is an innovative educational platform that teaches digital literacy and programming to children between the ages of 6 and 12 in a fun and interactive way. With a gamified and interdisciplinary approach, Ubbu integrates themes such as science, mathematics and citizenship, aligning its lessons with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Used in over 20 countries by more than 300,000 students and 3,660 teachers, it aims to reduce the gap between the skills taught in schools and the demands of the digital job market, preparing children for the challenges of the future.
SMART SETTLEMENTS & URBANIZATION – ENTI (NATIONAL STRATEGY FOR INTELLIGENT TERRITORIES)
This is a public project that aims to transform urban and rural territories in Portugal into smart territories, through digital platforms that promote efficiency, sustainability and interoperability between municipalities. Using advanced technologies such as digital twins and urban management platforms, ENTI is modernizing public services, making them more accessible, connected and citizen-centric.
ENVIRONMENT & GREEN ENERGY – EVIO
It is a platform that integrates different charging technologies and energy management systems, promoting interoperability and efficiency in the electric mobility ecosystem. By optimizing the use of green energy and facilitating the charging of electric vehicles, EVIO contributes to the decarbonization of the transport sector. Used by 23,000 users by the end of 2023, it promotes sustainability and the transition to cleaner, more accessible mobility.
BUSINESS & COMMERCE – GRANTER.AI
Granter.ai simplifies access to public funds, democratizing the process for small and medium-sized companies. Using artificial intelligence (AI) and a specialized team, the platform helps companies identify the best funding opportunities and manage the application process, from submission to post-approval management. Launched in 2023, it has already attracted more than 1,200 companies and submitted applications for more than 12 million euros in funding. It is an effective solution for overcoming the bureaucratic barriers that prevent many companies from accessing available funds, fostering growth and innovation.
INCLUSION & EMPOWERMENT – THE QUEER SPOT
This project uses artificial intelligence (AI) to centralize and publicize LGBTQ+ events, facilitating access to safe and inclusive spaces for the queer community in Portugal. With a scalable and automated approach, The Queer Spot has already listed more than 1,500 events and has a growing community of users. The platform is 100% free for users and is transforming the way the LGBTQ+ community connects, promoting visibility and safety in several Portuguese cities.
CULTURE & HERITAGE – PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORIES
This innovative project preserves the memory of cities by digitizing and sharing old photographs that could be lost over time. Through a collaborative online photographic archive, the community is invited to share, catalog and preserve visual memories of their localities. The first archive, in Cartaxo, has more than 5,500 digitized photos, allowing future generations to have access to the visual and cultural history of their cities.
