GOVERNMENT & CITIZEN ENGAGEMENT – MOSAICO
This is a common model for the design and development of digital public services, developed by AMA, which addresses two specific issues: the coherence and consistency of the citizen-government relationship experience; and the definition/(re)design and creation of new digital public services. This project promotes a strategic ecosystem that includes all the tools that help government teams develop digital public services based on the principles of citizenship, transparency, participation and accessibility. Always with a focus on the user, to provide a distinctive experience when people and organisations interact with the Public Administration.
HEALTH & WELL BEING – MULTICARE VITALITY PROGRAM
It’s an app that aims to encourage users to adopt a healthier lifestyle by using gamification to learn about and improve their health. The fulfilment of weekly goals is rewarded with FidCoins, a virtual currency that can be exchanged for vouchers in Fidelidade’s partner shops, and discounts on Multicare insurance annuities. It is available to all Multicare health plan holders, regardless of age, income or state of health. In this way, the solution provides benefits for the individual customer (with a healthier life), for society as a whole (by reducing overall healthcare costs) and for insurers (with fewer health claims and greater profitability).
LEARNING & EDUCATION – DIGITALL
This programme aims to bridge the digital skills gap by focusing on improving children’s digital education, whether in a school environment or through self-learning. At the same time, it empowers teachers in STEM education by promoting collaborative, experiential and interactive learning through the DigitALL platform. In the school context, the project is based on close collaboration with school clusters and municipalities, providing complementary resources to improve students’ literacy through innovative teaching materials. The “DigitALL at home” feature enables autonomous involvement in open activities, emphasising inclusion and competitiveness in the digital age. It has been approved by the Ministry of Education and is provided free of charge by the Vodafone Portugal Foundation.
SMART SETTLEMENTS & URBANIZATION – DEEPNEURONIC
It is an innovative video surveillance system that uses AI to autonomously identify more than 100 different objects and 30 different situations, from everyday behaviour to potential threats such as fires, vandalism and robberies. It is designed to simplify the surveillance supervision process, offering greater precision compared to human operators and reducing the workload of security personnel. Its adaptability and seamless integration into existing infrastructures make it a customisable and cost-effective choice. Available through a subscription model and as a stand-alone API/system, it stands out for its ability to improve security, reduce operating costs and increase efficiency in those that rely on video surveillance systems.
ENVIRONMENT & GREEN ENERGY – DAMS AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
It is a state-of-the-art monitoring, control and decision support platform. Powered by AI models and big data, it uses satellite images to monitor water quality and predict the relationship between weather forecasts and inflows. It provides forecasts of dam filling and discharge patterns, crucial for proactive management, particularly during extreme events. For continuous monitoring, it also incorporates IoT sensors and LoRaWAN networks, sending data directly to a secure, high-speed and scalable cloud platform. These technologies, together with the ongoing development of a Digital Twin, allow for a virtual representation of the infrastructure, which facilitates timely observation and mitigation of structural problems. It acts as a ‘beacon’ of safety, efficiency and resilience in the management of water resources, enabling decision-makers to respond quickly to challenges.
BUSINESS & COMMERCE – ETHIACK
It is a revolutionary B2B cybersecurity platform that uses a unique combination of human and machine hacking to provide comprehensive protection against cyber threats. It guarantees the identification of vulnerabilities with 99 per cent accuracy and continuous monitoring, as well as cost savings and user-friendly features. Through its symbiotic approach and the use of AI and machine learning. It has enormous potential to reshape the way companies fight cybercrime, at a time when cyberattacks are growing in quantity and sophistication, making offensive security increasingly the way forward to protect organisations, rather than just a defensive and reactive strategy.
INCLUSION & EMPOWERMENT – IDE SOCIAL HUB
It is a hub that aims to generate social impact through inclusion, diversity and equity, through social and human improvement. The goal is equal opportunities and decent work for all, through collaboration and partnerships with companies, organisations and individuals. To this end, it promotes social mobility, digital inclusion and employability, reducing inequality and increasing diversity in the technology sector. It operates in different contexts – local, regional and national – with an adapted approach centred on supporting communities and people from minority groups, as it understands that diversity is the driving force behind innovation and a more inclusive future. It represents an example of harnessing technology for social good, dedicated to creating a fairer and more inclusive world for all.
CULTURE & TOURISM – LITERACY HIGHWAYS
